All About UFO's

Indeed. But we don't know why more footage hasn't been released. Only 3 possibilities:

1) That's all there is. Which seems unlikely.

2) There's more but it shows that it's just a bird or some equally mundane cause. If so why not show it?

3) It shows something they don't want us to see. There are more likely explanations for that one than it's alien craft ofc.
Recall, it was not released, it was leaked. Hence, the Navy didn't want us to see any of it apparently. They could as you say de classify and show more if it now if it showed a more mundane reason for them, and the lengthy experiences of the pilots, chief radar operator, etc. Of course it could all be a well orchestrated psyop to mess with people, or freak out our adversaries, and so forth. Or, it's birds...

leaked/released - the boundary between the two is often blurred with military/government.

I'm a gambling man, I like to asses the percentages. At present, I still take the stance that whatever the explanation, it's not mundane, although I would not bet on aliens as being the answer.

Agreed on all fronts there. The mystery continues to unfold:

"We have tackled many strange stories on 60 Minutes, but perhaps none like this. It's the story of the U.S. government's grudging acknowledgment of unidentified aerial phenomena— UAP—more commonly known as UFOs. After decades of public denial the Pentagon now admits there's something out there, and the U.S. Senate wants to know what it is."

I can't rule out false flag/disinformation.

Unknown potential threat in airspace = bigger budget required to tackle it.

The last military man to refuse the offer of additional resources was the artillery commander at Dien Bien Phu, and look how that worked out.

There's no doubt some segments of the government have used the UFO issue to spread disinfo.

First is to admit there is a potential threat exists by these UAP's. Behind closed doors they admit it, publicly it's denial and business as usual. That may change in the near future, but I will not hold breath. One reason they may be resisting so much is admission they have no ability to stop or control what ever they are, would seriously shake people's faith in the ability of the all powerful US government to keep them safe. Pilots are often very shaken by the experience because they go from feeling like top dog in the best fighter jets that exist, to realizing they are slow and helpless to what ever those are.

The US had all the resources we could possibly need, and look how that worked out.

Which is why the whole 'potential threat' angle is mostly pushed by former intelligence operatives and service personnel instead? They may not be as retired or resigned as they say they are.

It is a possibility.

My personal feelings about it are, if they wanted to do us any harm we'd have known about it a long time ago.

Agreed, if there really are physics-defying objects (whatever their nature) they can command energies we don't know how to command on a scale we can't reach. Weapons are just means of focusing a lot of energy on a thing you want to destroy, so if these objects wanted us dead, we'd be dead.

And the idea of interstellar travelers wanting to fight / conquer is pretty wild, too. Unless their culture simply demands they obliterate weaker races for the sake of it, there's nothing we could possibly have that would be worth coming multiple light years and taking it from us by force.

Doctor Stephen William Hawking stated that if they come they will possible have bad intentions and use us a resource. He warned us.
If you already have a warp drive or some such... interstellar travel... using us as a resource would be like driving cross-country to get a roll of toilet paper. Anything you can get on earth, you can get somewhere else with less fuss. It would be like traveling back in time just so you could rob a caveman. Oh look, we stole all his rocks! Boom!

I've not heard it, as I said but would not be shocked if they were talking about the camera rotating. If you do come across it in future, would you let me know when and where?
First an eider duck and now this ... You are hard to take seriously when basic research seems beyond your interest. I gave you the link to Wikipedia (with videos).

John Ratcliffe said: "Movements that are hard to replicate, that we don't have the technology for or are travelling at speeds that exceed the sound barrier without a sonic boom." Supersonic birds or just blame it on gravity cat.

They may be manipulating us in more subtle ways for reasons we don't know, but most believe anything with that level of tech wouldn't need to bother with the hassles of physically attacking another planet. They may however be worried about the aggressive violent apes with nukes leaving their own planet, perhaps trying to prevent us with running with scissors so to speak. Supposedly, there was a big increase in sighting and interactions after we started detonation of nukes, and they're seen a lot around nuclear facilities, and so forth. It's possible they're not completely benevolent per se, but not overtly aggressive obviously.

Your entire premise, as stated, is absurd. I thought you believed we shouldn't deny the existence of UAP and that we should seriously research these phenomena. However, it's clear you think advanced extraterrestrials are joyriding around our planet in physics-defying spacecraft despite the lack of substantial evidence. How was I wrong about your position on the matter when I called this out before?

If they wanted us to know what it is they would have said what it was. It is just the release of the videos (which already leaked) and they don't know what it was either nor have they released any info on what happens at Area 51 etc.

Where is the existential threat b.t.w. ?
'They' have been here for ages (so it seems) and they have not attacked anyone. O.K.... unless you believe the abduction stories perhaps for some individuals.

None of the aliens (if that's what they are) have come forward and threatened the world or made themselves known.

Why would they fly around and observe only, not get caught or crash in a dense populated area or contact these backwards earth dwellers ?

'We' will never know what it exactly is and if some people know they will never tell 'us' anyway unless they have to (have made their present and intentions known).

The 'watchdog' hypothesis makes as much sense as anything, since from what we've seen intelligent life must be pretty rare, if any other such species exist in our galaxy at all. As such, other intelligent life would probably want to make sure we don't destroy ourselves, rather than wipe us out... if they actually existed, anyway. It's a comforting thought.

But am I really going to believe in this on the very same website where I'm constantly telling people they can't hear differences between audio gear and they're probably imagining it? But people who see aliens aren't?

Compelling video. I hope it's wrong, but it would be illogical to ignore the evidenced presented here. Highly controversial Dr Greer, said same about Elizondo and others, that they are all part of the ongoing psyop to make UFO's appear a national threat to fund programs etc.

I'm going to be illogical here and ignore that "evidence". YouTube's algorithms have a lot to answer for.

to fund programs etc.
That's the reason... to grab govern money... not because it is a threat.
Has not been in the past and see no reason why any phenomenon that we can't even register on clear video yet should be.

Myself, and many (most?) others who follow the topic, doubt there's a real threat from what ever they may turn out to be. But, as always, it may not be as simple as it appears one way or another, some that dependent on what you read and what you choose to believe.
Has not been in the past and see no reason why any phenomenon that we can't even register on clear video yet should be.
That's a different issue and topic. For example, the pilots to made the recent "leaked" vids said they were intentionally made difficult to see. Remember, they returned to the carrier and can watch their own vids. According to them, they were much clearer. I have no doubt they can get, and posses, far better vids they aint sharing with us.

Two, there's a field created around some of those craft, what ever it may be, well established in terms of what cameras and human eyes see, which interferes with radar, cameras, etc. The field is a very strong electromagmetic in nature.

So, there's several reasons we don't get the best vid. Finally, some vid that does exist is quite clear, but the object may be moving so damn fast it's difficult to capture.

There's more pics and vids coming out all the time due to so many phones, etc but I can't even get mine up and running in time to catch my dog doing something funny, much less have it out and filming at precisely the right time a UAP just happens to be there.

Finally, For myself, due to how easy it is for anyone with a phone or comp to fake photos, unless confirmed by someone expert in forensic photography or similar expert analysis, I assume it's a fake. With AI, etc is only getting worse. Even vids are pretty easy to fake for those with the basic skills. I hope telling the fakes from the legit stuff will at least remain.
