On the topic of alien life I can't see why it wouldn't exist given the vastness of the space.

That's enough "proof of concept" for at least somewhat intelligent beings living on a small rocky planet orbiting a generally calm star to convince me "aliens" are not an impossibility.

It's pretty amazing that we exist on starship Earth at all. A big amazing combination of circumstances that blows some minds sometimes. I've given up trying to understand it more than I do because it is what it is.
