All About UFO's

I seek truth (which exists independently)
Sadly I'm afraid will never be found in the UAP/USO/UFO/extraterrestrial realm .... nor in the audiophool snake-oil world nor religion.
But ... it is a noble effort. :)

I'm convinced someone knows the answers to it all, or knows enough to answer the major Qs to that puzzle.

'Convinced' falls under 'religion' as it is a state of believing. :)
Pedantic interpretation that. I'm convinced, based on the evidence, that the earth revolves around the sun. No religion nor faith is required to come to that conclusion.

I saw a recent interview with Rep. Burleson and Dr. Puthoff. During the discussion it was brought up that institutional knowledge has been lost over the years (people retire and die without passing on what they know due to the NDAs in place), and various information is stove-piped among many different agencies and contractors. Allegedely, part of the mission of AAWSAP was to uncover that information, but they lost funding before their job was complete.

The new UAP Science Advisory Council now is being tasked with analyzing UAP data, but it is my understanding that they will not have access to classified data. If that is the case, it may be waste of time. Also, the new UAP Science Advisory Council includes one skeptic, Michael Shermer, but he is not a scientist. I wish there were skeptical scientists on the panel as well. The evidence the panel will be analyzing needs to be scientifically analyzed from different perspectives. The more thorough the analyses, the more likely the analyses will be correct.

In the end, I am not optimistic that the truth about UAP, whatever that happens to be, is going to be discovered and released by the new panel. We'll see.

Anyway . . .

Happy World UFO Day!

Hmmm, shocking (not).

It will be a waste of time and a big report will come out that will be summarized as "there's legit unanswered phenomena, and we are currently unable to identify what they is, more study needed." When you compartmentalize it, bury under layers of need to know and NDA, and put it under project within projects of private entities immune to Congress, FOIA, etc, it's gonna take something way past yet another "Advisory Council" which to date, have answered the important Qs behind exactly zero topics they have been tasked to examine. Even if they have the best of intentions as members of that group, they exist as PR entities and their conclusions/findings are pre ordained to find and see what they are allowed to see.

They need to get all the people who claim to have the insider knowledge in a room, have the formal documents written up by the highest authority (POTUS, DOJ, etc), that absolves them all 100% of any and all NDA's they signed in the past 30 years, and have them answer the F-ing questions put to them by a group of people who have been tracking and following the issue. Anything else at this point is a waste of time. I'm done with "I know all about that but can't answer it because of the NDA I signed."

I don't blame those people for not breaking those NDA's either, the government can and will ruin your life in various ways over such things, and they know that with even another admin in the WH their support and protections can evaporate like mist, so it has to be done at the level there's no avenues to change it exist.

Well said.

EDIT: One Caveat on the NDA releases:

Any NDAs specific to UAP, but do not cover weapons programs, should be completely waived.

But, any NDAs that protect secret weapons programs only should be waived for disclosures to the council, not to the public at large, and the council would need to sign NDAs protecting the weapons secrets. But, any and all non-weapons secrets should be waived. Hypothetically speaking, if NDAs protect technology that can be used to design weapons, especially weapons of mass destruction, we don't want that information falling into the hands of our adversaries, especially Russia, North Korea, Iran, China, various terrorists groups and various cartels.

If they did all of that and unanimously concluded that all reasonable data and sightings are explained by terrestrial phenomena and human endeavors, would you be satisfied?

And in addition to everyone with insider knowledge, personal observations, scientific credentials, and top secret clearances, the proceedings and materials were observed by Elon Musk, Tom Hanks, the Pope, Donald Trump, Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Sir David Attenborough, Michio Kaku, Avi Loeb, Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Lee Greenwood, William Shatner, Neil Young, the remaining Village People, Melinda Gates, LeBron James, Lev Parnas, Yo-Yo Ma, Lynette “Squeaky” Fromme, Ken Burns, E. L. James, Martin Scorcese, Shohei Ohtani, Eugene Kranz, Dolly Parton, Quentin Tarantino, Malala Yousafzai, Nick Fuentes, Jodi Foster, and two of your favorite relatives and they all agreed that the proceedings were well done and above board, would you then disregard all of your videos, books, and essays that claim or imply evidence of extraterrestrial visitation and the existence of a cover-up?

That tells me you don't follow the topic and know who those people are, as they have been very clear that is not the case. That's the actual problem.

Pedantic interpretation that. I'm convinced, based on the evidence, that the earth revolves around the sun. No religion nor faith is required to come to that conclusion.
It is known (a fact) that the earth revolves around the sun. This has nothing to do with believing or being convinced.
This is something entirely different than believing or being convinced this is so.

For instance I am convinced there is life on other planets that may even have intelligence but far from convinced they are visiting/observing us.
One can theorize based on observations but, like in audio, observations aren't necessarily correct nor conclusions based on observations.

While in principle I agree, keep in mind how widely "weapon of mass destruction" is now defined. The volume of 'incendiary' necessary to qualify has been made so small as to have nonsensical results if applied strictly, say to a lighter fluid refill or a flaming Sambuca, let alone the rest of the spirits behind the bar or whatever powers your vehicle (excepting pedal cycles and LFP batteries). We wouldn't want the NDAs to be used to stop people talking about mundane things that happen to have a dual use, like jet fuel or precision machine tools.

Obviously not, Arnie is not there, he fought the Predator

Looks like Will fearlessly breaks NDAs by jamming apostrophes into them.

Of course is does. Really a silly argument. I'm convinced due to the available evidence. It's not a complicated topic that one.
