I still think the guys analysis is good. Another analysis I saw concluded it was a flair attached to a parachute. There is an exhaust trail and what can be reasonably interpreted as being a parachute. One of those analyses probably is correct. I lean toward the paraglider.

Here is Mick West's analysis of the offshore wind turbine video. I liked the drone hypothesis I came up with, but his hypothesis is much better, and based on careful image analysis. Once again, paralax caused by a moving image capture platform likely is the culprit.
