I don't think even POTUS has the ability (note I didn't say authority...) to actually do it, and he, like others, found that out once in office. POTUS is a short term employee and those in the DOD and other three letter orgs pay little attention to what some temp wants, even of that temp supposedly runs the nation. They don't in any real sense.

I was just released from a Salvadoran SuperMax prison (*deep breathing ouch body fluids pain keel over crawl*). Sometimes, noble people like me commit scientific atrocities for the greater good. We think outside the evidence. We savor our punishment and our pain. What did the files reveal?! I have to know the truth. I don’t want my incarceration to have been in vain. Nothing yet, and I wouldn't hold your breath. Seriously, I doubt any files and videos to be released will contain indisputable evidence.

It comes down to this: Either many people running our government are incredibly gullible and/or crazy, or our current understaning about the fundamental laws of nature is far, far from being complete. Many people claim to know which is the case, but I don't.

Occam's Razor would point me to choice number one.
Speaking of which: You can test that by asking any of them (folks running 'our government(s)', that is) if they knew that the word gullible isn't in the dictionary. They can look it up, one can offer helpfully.

on-topic: There's likely at least a shred of truth to the psyops angle mentioned interstitially above -- although imply giving more credit to the authorities than they're actually due.

There is no doubt there are psyops pertaining to this subject, as well as countless others. But, it now has gone beyond that - e.g., Age of Disclosure. In that documentary those people are putting their reputations on the line. I think they truly believe what they are telling. Whether what they are telling is accurate information or they are too gullible I don't know. But, the more videos and images I see that, to me, look to be prosaically explained, but are proffered up as being of UAPs, the more I lean toward the latter. But, who knows, maybe it is just another psyop I am falling for.

No doubt that's the plan. It appears a large, and growing, group of people are doing their best to end that plan. The issue is, are they simply being manipulated, part of the psyops plan and lying, crazy, or other.
