All About UFO's

Incursions by drones of unknown origin again is in the news, but this time in Europe.

Zero connection to UFOs. Some decent pictures were provided in the local news. Definitely human drones. Coincides with discussions about what to do with frozen Russian assets (mostly held in Belgium) and pointless statements by local politicians (politicians making dumb statements is a defining human feature, everywhere). Belgium is so small that, when you have a drone over Liège Airport, it is essentially also over Tihange's nuclear plant. Shooting them down violently, if the ability was there, is out of the question given population density.

Fun fact, while we did have a few "concerned members of the public" reporting a UFO it was quickly identified and ruled out. Can't totally blame them on that one tbh...

Interestingly, zero trace of UFO hysteria. When the US flies drones over and around one of its own drone testing facility, UFO frenzy and/or "bearded enemy near our shore " hits the media for 3 days. Around here, we laugh at our incompetence and life goes on. That's the cultural difference we already talked about in this thread.

911 still weights on minds here. There still are groups out there that would like to pull off the same type of damage if given the opportunity. From what we have seen recently, drones in the wrong hands can cause a lot of damage.

That didn't work out too well 75 years ago.

There was some unintentional humour in the Gomez video when those cultural differences were actually cited in an attempt to add gravitas. And a clumsy segue from ‘unidentified’ to ‘UAP’ to the same unsuccessful end.

NASA APOD - amateur image

Everyone in the solar system is joining in on imaging Comet 3I/Atlas. Everyone but the aliens. They are conspicuously absent.

This is my favorite thread on the internet. I am always happy to see it show up on what’s new. Even better when there’s an actual object to talk about.

It’s such a change of pace from war and politics.

Because they are deploying their attack ships from Comet C/2025 K1 (ATLAS).

Comet 3I/Atlas Is obviously a decoy so the aliens can make a sneak attack on Earth’s right flank. Top secret government files indicate that aliens are passionate Civil War buffs. Right down to the handlebar mustaches.

I had a go at it yesteday with a small 115mm aperture 805mm focal length refractor and a cheap mono camera (QHY Minicam 8), my small fun setup.
The comet currently moves relatively to the sky background by 1 arc second / 6 seconds of time. This is a single 10 minutes exposure tracked with an adapted custom rate.
The faint straight line in the upper left corner is a definite proof of intelligence, human one.

As a side note, Avi Loeb commenting on amateur images of 3I and seeing all kinds of suspicious things around 3I was initially hilarious (he has slightly and covertly changed the text since). And there is worse than Avi - I've seen a longish video of a guy (claiming to have credentials) essentially telling us the alien attack had begun using C/2025 K1 images and claiming it was 3I...

Nice work!

As it happens, my weekend newspaper reading included a new review of the Age of Disclosure in The Guardian. Unfortunately credulous for an appearance in a normally decent outlet—and preceded by a similar attempt back when the 'documentary' initially screened at SXSW—it looks like the subject film has picked up distribution in the US now. I wonder how I would have received the article if I hadn't been following this thread for some time? Probably the whole thing would be much more puzzling. But the familiar names and dim-witted credentialism fall out of the text so readily and obviously now.

But there’s a reason why Farah gravitated towards Elizondo (who also serves as an executive producer on the film). He’s got genuine credentials. ...

And as we know, in this production he's one of 34 government/adjacent talking heads serving up a human centipede of divulgence.

Whether you're interest is surface level but want to get a concentrated info dump on the topic, or someone who follows the UAP/UFO phenomena closely as I have, this latest documentary is worth viewing. The collection of expertise, from scientists to military of all ranks, politicians (including current 72nd United States Secretary of State ) that are interviewed, is potentially game changing to moving the needle toward full disclosure.

Ironically, UAP/UFO disclosure appears the only topic that gets full bipartisan interest and support in Congress currently, and that at least bodes well for forcing further release of information on the topic. The real Q is, is humanity ready to learn the truth about 80+ years of suppression by the US Government and others we may not be the alpha species on this planet? I don't know the answer to that, I just know there's something in our airspace and oceans that can't be ignored any longer and pretending they're all weather balloons and swamp gas is not gonna cut it any more, and we deserve hard answers for reasons of national security, science, and human development. It's in select theaters and streaming on Amazon now.

Haha, look at that. A week late, but because Will doesn't read posts from people he disagrees with, he's none the wiser. Following it all too closely, I guess.

Fwiw I'm not sure that citing demented Congress-critters on 'both sides' adds veracity. Misplaced credulity is at least somewhat bipartisan, and politicians certainly span the bell curve. Of course the 'defence' argument and the 'aliens' argument are quite different subjects, the former prosaic and the latter fantastic. Conflation gets more clicks.

If people in Congress where teaching me how to be a 'Grifter', I'd pay astute attention.
But normally, I am just trying to figure out am I one of the multitude of people that are going to be more screwed by whatever is the latest thing that they come up with.
It seems to me that congressional gridlock is good: then they can be like Dr.'s are supposed to be, according to the Hippocratic Oath: doing no harm.

I watched the documentary. I found it very interesting. There isn't much in it that we haven't already heard, though there is some new information. I'm curious to see whether the documentary has any impact on information releases from the executive branch. I'm not holding my breath.

If we assume the allegations made in the documentary are true, then Americans should be outraged by the level of power exerted over our government by unelected bureaucrats and corporations. If the allegations are false, then Americans should be outraged that the people making the false allegations worked their way up to such high levels of influence in our government and military. Either way, we have serious issues that need to be addressed by our democratically elected leaders.

It's hard to imagine that the current US administration wouldn't be twittering (or Xing or whatever) nonstop if they knew anything cool about all of this.

Following Eisenhower, Presidents no longer had sufficient security clearance to be told the truth. Or so the story goes.
