All About UFO's

But, but... if it's (umm, I mean, if we're) a simulation... it's (we're) not reality.
So... computation's cool for it/us, right?

Dr. James Lacatski - former DIA intelligence officer and architect behind the Pentagon's classified Advanced Aerospace Weapons System Applications Program (AAWSAP) and Kona Blue UFO programs - interviewed at length. A lot of it is frustrating "I can't discuss that" responses and some annoying double speak (you can tell he was an intel guy...) but there are some kernals of interesting information, and admission a retrieval took place and a craft that contained tech not seen before, discussed:

This actually got me thinking...
I guess I thought* believing was binary.

______________
* I was gonna type "I guess I believed..." but decided that might be a bit too precious.
I think there are definitely degrees of belief when something isn't a known fact.

Do I "believe" [insert conspiracy theory here]? Not in the sense that I believe facts I know to be true. Would I surprised if it turned out to be true? No.

I wouldn't believe a word of this. He's clearly under duress. Those two aliens disguised as hefty cabinets? They'll crush him in an instant.

Since many of you will have a midweek day off tomorrow in remembrance of the sacrifices made by all members of the the armed forces to protect our freedoms, here's some off-the-wall stuff from our favorite Astrophysicist, Avi Loeb, about Atlas-3i (Articles are from the Daily Star so the existence of Atlas3i, aliens, UFOs/UAPs, and science in general, call into question the existence of all of the former.).:

And here's one from 'Looney Luna', one of the members of the House UAP committee (It's from the NY Post, so . . .).

Avi Loeb’s scientific role models throughout history:

“Jupiter has retrograde motion because it is an alien spaceship.”
“Mercury’s perihelion precesses because it is an alien spaceship.”
“Saturn shows ears in Galileo’s telescope because it is an alien spaceship.”
“Venus cycles through phases because it is an alien spaceship.”
“The Sun shows dark spots because it has alien cities.”
“The Moon has pock marks from the landing of alien spaceships.”
“Uranus is tipped on its side from the crash of an alien spaceship.”
“Comets are probes sent by alien civilizations.”
“Halley’s comet returns about every 76 years so that aliens can monitor our progress.”
“Canals on Mars? Don’t get me started.”

The history of astronomy is filled with observations that were anomalous for their time. These anomalies helped us to refine our scientific models and better understand the natural world. Our advances developed over time through hard work and innovative thinking. Quick and lazy speculation is rarely beneficial.

TLDR:

Go buy my book and and I am not going to say anything more than what's in there because you are not allowed to know.
Everything in the book(s) is what has been approved to be released.
Sadly the UAP/UFO/USO and whatnot believers want to 'know' what they aren't allowed to know nor will never know.
Congress is NOT going to give them that.
Nothing is.
He also states that there is a LOT of deliberate misinformation and who are 'we' to filter out what to believe and what not to believe.

The public isn't allowed to know certain things.
'Leaks' may be intentional misinformation, they may be real leaks.
We will never know for sure.
Hell... even 'real' information may be incorrect anyway when it has been looked at with the 'wrong glasses'.

Just like with audio ... there is correct information and misinformation. It is in the eyes of the beholder to believe the info they want.. factually true or not .. that's what they want but expect it to be the only absolute truth.

Humans ... fascinating beings...

Avi loeb seems (to me) like a competent scientist who is unduly amused by the fact that the press will repeat anything he says about something being aliens. This is enough to explain why he does what he does IMO.

So... he's a scientist turned performance artist, then. Got it!
(actually that would make me feel better about him than just thinking he's slipped into his own wormhole a la, e.g., poor Linus "Vitamin C" Pauling of yore.)

About Avi Loeb's speculation, here's what the guy who heads the Penn State Extraterrestrial Intelligence Center had to say a couple of days ago.
Very close to what I said above in this thread, with the bonus of more idiotic claims that Loeb had made since I posted and, obviously, more credibility ;)

You can't suspect a guy who leads an extraterrestrial intelligence center to be biased against extraterrestrial intelligence.
Yet, that does not prevent clownish answers.
