Agree. We can study something when there's a way to study it. The data should be available over time with all those recording devices out there.

There's a lot to unpack in such an open ended Q. We have the most powerful sensors world online now via the US military who tracks and records them regularly. Yet, those who have come forward to talk about it, have traditionally been told to shut up, and or, had their careers ruined. That's covered somewhat in the congressional hearing posted focused on whistle blowers. We get shorts vids leaked occasionally, there's likley decades of vids, reports, etc, which they could supply as part of a disclosure change if it ever happens. That's big topic, some of which covered in this thread.

As that's an ongoing fight, scientists from Harvard developing new tech specifically to scan the sky for anomalous objects, all privately funded. Other projects are happening now that UAP/UFO phenomena lacks the stigma it did:

The fact such posters don't realize not one of us here who have been openly discussing the topic of UAP as a serious issue worthy of open investigation and disclosure, ever claimed evidence of aliens. Again, why that's so difficult for some to get further confirms active denial of facts and realities. Aliens are being claimed as the source of some events by a long list of highly placed and qualified people to be sure, can't be dismissed, only one of various possibilities covered here.

Can we please pull the fig leaf away? The promotion of evidence of non-human entities that is mysteriously withheld from the public is mostly what “not one of us here” continue to present through videos by “credentialed experts” that are way too long and uninformative for anyone to watch, by posts of events which have repeatedly been explained or debunked such as alien autopsies, and invoking demons from the nether world as an explanation. No matter how many times claims within posts have been shown to be erroneous, those claims continue to be made over and over in this thread which has now gone on for 248 pages. And often with the suggestion that the dramatic reveal is just around the corner.

We don't know if it's a plastic bag, but we don't know if it's not either. Listening to the hearing, there's a lot of theater going on there taking advantage of the fact that the video really doesn't tell us much about what we're looking at or what actually happened during that collision. I looked up hellfire air to air and apparently that is a weak ability of the hellfire. It can be used to take down slow moving, easier targets. A plastic bag caught in the wind would fit that description. The thing doesn't maneuver at all. That would also fit a plastic bag caught in the wind. The hellfire does not seem to detonate. It probably wouldn't if it collided with a plastic bag. We don't know if the hellfire "split" or broke apart, or if that's just pieces of bag.
I had a friend who saw an amazing semicircular, black UFO hovering above a mountain through his binoculars. He hiked towards it and when he got close enough saw that it was a black umbrella strangely caught in an updraft, just hovering in position.

I find the vid interesting, not terribly compelling, per usual, more Qs than answers. I am interested in hearing a breakdown on it once those with the knowledge and tech to examine it, weigh in. As always, context matters, an isolated vid is interesting, needs context beyond claims offered. The outside interviews of the hearing discussion adds some context as to origin, still usual lack of details due to secrecy of both mission and source. Will the DOD supply additional info either debunking or further confirming the claims? That too is useful and telling.
