All About UFO's

From the 2024 UAP Disclosure Act (not enacted into law):

(13) Non-human intelligence.--The term ``non-human
intelligence'' means any sentient intelligent non-human
lifeform regardless of nature or ultimate origin that may be
presumed responsible for unidentified anomalous phenomena or
of which the Federal Government has become aware.

UAP, NHI.... BS TLAs ....
LGM (Little Green Men) is roughly the appropriate level of seriousness for this topic

"We have no indications of FTL." yet! and we never may as already stated.

100 years ago we had no indications of gravitational waves, 70 years ago (don't pin me down on a couple of years!) we didn't have an indication that Atom cores consisted even smaller items we now call Quarks, and even those are contested, according to quantum field theorists there's only fields that interact in such a manner that we get the "impression" that particles exist, but in reality they are not even there., it's just probabilities until measured.
So a lot of known unknowns, and probably even more unknown unknowns, and a lot of research to do, at least that's what i hope for humanity:D

Another thing that is in common with 'subjective audio' reports.
All based on a belief that there is something 'we' don't know yet.

As outlined over and over, there's a long list of essential things not understood in cosmology and physics, literally the very matter the universe made of and energy source used, etc, etc and are not vague nor lacking definitive areas where the knowledge lacking, unlike audio where the science/physics is very well defined and understood. Two, in audio, it's easy to bypass the claims by simply forcing the person to do A/B blinded comparisons. Again, there is not parallels to your comparisons, as in nadda.

In both cases (UAP and 'magic in audio') there will be no 'hard evidence' but lots of theories and speculation.

Again, the evidence for UAP is far better than the claims made for audio claims and audio claims of magic and yet elucidated physics can be disproved by A/B blinded comparisons which ends the subjectivists claims.

Evidence for audio woo: Anecdotes and “there’s lots of stuff that science doesn’t understand yet”

Evidence for little green men: Anecdotes and “there’s lots of stuff that science doesn’t understand yet”

And they are incorrect as it applies to audio.

That is accurate as outlined with specifics 9,293,127 times in this thread. People being condescending, who obviously spent no time researching the topic much less following the thread, don't "get" that aspect. Hence, they make false equivalent goofy comparisons to audio and cosmology and UAP.

Maybe read more and type less.

Thanks I forgot that one:

Audio bollocks: “you need to do your own research and keep an open mind”

Little green men: “you need to do your own research and keep an open mind”

Humanity has been around between 100k and 300k years. Given the exponential rise in technology,

Is that a given? Is 'technology' really still 'rising exponentially'?

But none of them understand non-locality, dark matter, dark energy, how to reconcile GR with Quantum Mechanics, etc., etc. The world's best scientists don't understand those things. On the other hand, the number of highly credentialed people, including some scientists (e.g., Dr. Garry Nolen el al.) telling us the phenomena is real continues to grow. The only people I have seen outright dismiss it as all nonsense are people who have not deeply studied the topic, or have not done so for a very long time.

Ah, the ever popular 'increasing number of scientists' coming to the rescue.

I notice Dr. Nolan is a credentialed immunologist and biophysicist.

I too am a PhD in a biological field, at a research university.

There are many, many of us scientists around the world! But very few as confident as Dr. Nolan. Surely Dr. Nolan knows how to report/establish a scientific fact to his colleagues? If he's "100% sure" that aliens have visited us and continue to, that would seem to suggest he possesses peer-reviewable publication-worthy data.

We await his revelations. And while we do, some of us may recall the story of the very highly credentialed Dr. Linus Pauling, and his 100% confidence in the wonders of vitamin C.

I remain unconvinced that we are being visited by NHI; I have not seen evidence strong enough to convince me. I have my hypothesis, which I have shared in this thread, as to how so many highly credentialed people may have been duped by psychological operations used to cover advanced weapons systems, but that is just a hypothesis that remains far from being proven. Until stronger evidence comes out either way, I am willing to admit that I don't know enough about the matter to opine as to what is the actual truth.

Nonethless, I find the topic fascinating, especially Congress's current involvement with the topic. Given the length of this thread, it seems that a lot of other people also find the topic intriguing, or there are a lot of trolls in this forum. Maybe it is a little of both.

The ever-changing coinages meant to veneer the endeavor with military-style seriousness -- 'NHI' now -- is among the things related to UFOs that are funny to me, as an observer of true believers since the early 1970s. So, troll here, I guess.

We literally went from The Wright brothers' invention the Wright Flyer, in 1903 to Apollo 11 moon landing in 1969, a span of 66 years. What would a species with 100k years, a million years, or 10 million years ahead of us come up with? That's blink of an eye time frames cosmically speaking. Fun context, Wilbur Wright said:

"I confess that in 1901, I said to my brother Orville that man would not fly for 50 years."

He was wrong obviously.

As for FTL, again, we know it's theoretically possible, does not break currently understood laws of physics (which has massive holes in that understanding...) and yes, taken seriously by those studying the topic for a living. For example, paper from NASA via Dr. Harold “Sonny” White discussing "Warp Field Mechanics 101"

Exactly, as evidenced, especially in Cosmology.

As outlined over and over and over in this thread, ignored via cognitive dissonance, and utterly useless audio parallels attempted. Being an audio forum I get it, but when it's easily demonstrated to be wrong, time to move on to actually addressing the topics discussed.

Physics hasn’t advanced significantly in nearly 50 years. My theory is that aliens interfere with our instruments in subtle ways that block progress. Perhaps I should develop this into a novel. ;)

It's already in a novel, the 3 body problem!

That was massively accelerated by the 5 years (3 years for those who started late) of total global war - likely we would not have made anything like the advances we have, or at that speed, without it.

Since another round of that would be the end of it all we're not going to get that acceleration again unless there's some other driver than war.

Oh but, we will get another "round of that" sooner than later i'm afraid.

Tech breakthroughs happen for various reasons and are not linear. A massive planet killing asteroid is discovered and will strike us in 20 years, the acceleration in space related tech would be massive. That scenario by all accounts is not an if, but when event. It would be worldwide and make any space race we had with the Russians look like childs play. I'd add as much as people don't like to admit it, wars lead to a big increase in tech development of all kinds. It's really unfortunate that's what it takes to motivate humans to do such things.
