All About UFO's

Fair statements. But, it has not been kept secret. Leaks go back decades. The question is whether those leaked documents are authentic.
Math dictates there's intelligent life elsewhere in the vastness of the universe. Human vanity is what makes us infer we are utterly unique in the universe.

Why anyone would bother to travel millions of lightyears to simply hover around and refuse any contact is something that sounds highly implausible to me. Especially if their tech is so ahead of ours, why would they crash around and get caught?

So I personally have zero doubt about many forms of intelligent life in the Universe, but I doubt we'd interact with it the way these discussions imply.

In the meantime I think we have more immediate issues on our very planet.

There is the zoo hypothesis. In short, it is a hypothesis that, just as we study animals and ecosystems, send rovers to Mars, etc., we and other life on Earth are being studied by non-humans. And, there are various ultra-terrestrial hypotheses that the non-humans are not coming from light years away.

We never give it a thought if we are seen or not, or interfere with stuff. Too busy pushing boundaries in the name of quick results and (perhaps) science. We launch our stuff and couldn't care less where or if it crashes.

Not disagreeing with anything you said because it is not an area I have any educated knowledge about.

Just watch the video when you get home so that you get it straight from the horses' mouths.
I don't have 2.5 hours to spend watching this, but I skimmed to the point where Elizondo claims we are in possession of technology "not made by any government" which, if you'll note, oddly enough, is not actually saying it wasn't made by people. Mace asks him directly and he says "maybe both". Maybe and maybe not, huh?

He also states the government is trying to "hide the fact that we are not alone in the cosmos" which seems to imply more, but is also not very specific and is not a direct statement as such.

Furthermore, his proposed remedy is not "tell the truth to the public" but "create a new position within government to oversee stuff". He hints at telling the truth about this stuff but it's not actually a direct recommendation he makes!

There's a "crash retrieval for alien UAPs" but no statement that we actually retrieved any. People have been injured by UAPs, okay, that implies nothing about where they're from.

Do you see how weaselly this guy actually is?

If there really were genuine, unambiguous aliens or alien technologies in human hands, that would be bigger than congress, the president, one person's career, or any one country, especially if one were in a position to procure proof.

Why hasn't he done that? Probably because there isn't any. He comes out and heavily implies he's seen proof of things. But what he actually says is nothing of the sort.

Go to where he is asked about the biologics.

All I can say is if any of these guys got it, they should produce the Kenyan birth certificate. No? Well........

What we have is way, way more than background noise. The only thing we don't have are the craft and alien bodies, if they really exist, presented to the public.
What we have is a handful of people driving conspiracy theories. What we don't have is even a solitary half decent photograph, let alone any artefacts.

I think you are missing the point. YOU don't have those things. But, accordingly to numerous people with extremely high credentials, the U.S. government has them.

Is it possible that all of those highly credential individuals were deceived by an internal psy op to coverup something else? Absolutely, and I don't discount that hypothesis. Hopefully we find out and get to the bottom of it.

If you look at the lineup of people nominated to assume various leadership roles in our government, there is a heavy pro-disclosure bias. It looks to me like we are moving toward disclosure, inch by inch, whatever that may entail. It could be that there is a NHI presense, or it could be that we have developed weapons even more terifying than nuclear missles or something else disturbing and the UAP stories coming from the government insiders all were cover stories to hide those programs.

Because NHIs only interact with the US government, right?

I don't like it when the media shows that jellyfish video. Sarah Gamm was part of the UAP task torce and said that the task force figured out what it was, and it definitely was not NHI.

I don't recall her saying that myself. I would like to know what that is. There's supposedly additional vid where it does some much more dramatic behaviors to conclude it's not a balloon or such.

And what proof have you supplied to prove they are wrong?

That's not the way it works.

as the nostrum goes , Extraordinary claims need extraordinary evidence.

This whole thing has the whiff of hysterical nonsense or the results of a 'telephone' line (someone told someone who told someone...). And now of course a few of the actors have a financial/fame incentive to keep it going , which potentially muddies the waters.

(For me, it just all rings false not just ebcause of the magnitude of the conspiracy required, but because the 'aliens' sound too damn 'human'. Just like the 'God' of all our major religions...a cosmos-creating entity supposedly 'incomprehesible' yet so often coming off as simply a human with super powers. And kind of a grumpy one at that. Who out of the entire vast cosmos, cares really, really, really at lot about *us*. Seem very obviously to me a case of wishful thinking and projection)

This discussion on UFOs is being carried out in the usual audiophile discussion patterns, it's interesting to follow from time to time.
May I suggest you gents also open the following topics:
* Is there life or conscious existence after death?
* Do Sasquatch (aka Bigfoot) or the Loch Ness monster exist?
* Is time travel an imminent possibility?
Congress isn't holding hearings on any of those. Big difference.

FWIW I go back decades with this stuff. I devoured all of John Keel's books when I was an adolescent. (He's most famous today for popularizing 'Mothman' and "Men in Black', though he rarely gets the credit due)
