As far as I can tell, this is not an April fools joke. It could go under humor, but it's real reel/vinyl. It is an interesting business model, we shall see if it is successful and expanded.

Revox currently reconditions vintage B77 tape machines and the B795 linear turntable.

Revox makes e new B77 Mk III recorder for $19,995US and have a Studiomaster T700 turntable through their dealer network for $5,299US. They have 5 dealers in the USA, and one in Canada.

For their Alice Cooper editions, they have the B77 Mk III tape machine and a new T77 turntable similar to Project & Music Hall with the Polish tone arm in carbon fiber. And they have a whole line of pre-recorded tape and vinyl.

Tape machine 25 units limited edition $27,950.00US
Turntable 50 units $9,950.00US
Paranormal vinyl made to order $595.00US
Paranormal 1/4" half track 15ips 1mil to order $495.00

Apparently Revox has a tape media label with all kinds of remastered for tape, Horch House. The tapes are $470-$580. R2R 2nd generation master dubs - pseudo-masters.

So for the audiophile who has everything, this is something new! It is not clear sho owns Revox and Horch now, guess private equity.

Add, if I were them, I would get licenses and reimplement DBX and Dolby A/SR tape noise reduction in more efficient circuitry. The Dolby CAT cards are very complex.

I'm surprised it's not KISS. They used to license anything and everything.

The B77 is one thing, but the Turntable is just sad. Well, they left the B795 alone. Did not know you could order that:
