This was my first first album. I got my Mom to buy it for me at a Hill's department store when I was about 3. I wore it out on my little record player.

I absolutely do not believe that someone beat me to posting THIS album cover. What are the odds of that? It was also my first record and the first one I wore out and had to replace. Molly Hatchet had some good music and great album covers courtesy of Frank Frazetta. I had a poster for Flirtin' With Disaster on my wall at one time in my late teens.

The second one that I wore out--and possibly my second album ever--was:

I still consider it one of the best live albums ever recorded.

I love that Cash album Walter. The other LP that was mine that I remember from a very young age is this one. I had the book and record too but this LP was cool and creepy. I always imagined a haunted house on the hill behind where we lived. We would put this on at night, turn out the lights, and my older brother would tell me that our Aurora glow models sitting on the dresser (hunchback, witch, prisoner, Jeckyll and Hyde) would come to life after we went to sleep. Scared the crap outta me! This was high entertainment in the late 60s - early 70s : )

Moustache's cover pops up in my mind every few days, probably the album that got me into this kind of "cacophonic" electronic music.

I thought these were so cool when I was 10. The era of Spencer Gifts poster art for those in the US.

What, not even one Roger Dean creation - all that amazing cover art that got ripped off for the Avatar movie? Here is a less well known one, from the Greenslade album Bedside Manners Are Extra. Legal bit - copyright is owned by Warner Bros\Roger Dean, and must be attributed.
