Could anyone shed some light on why the AKITIKA amplifiers have these electrolytic caps coiled in wire?

Is this creating some kind of RF-rejecting inductor?

Does it work?

Is it a good idea?

I built the original GT 101 in 2016 and have subsequently built the PR102 preamp and the GT104 amp.
The preamp is obviously a more detailed build but if you take it slow and don't let impatience or fatigue cause mistakes it can be done. The preamp is versatile and provides control over a number of parameters from the remote (couch). I like having the tone controls and I feel they help me get the sound I want-I still own audiophile purist preamps with no tone controls/remotes in other systems too.
The GT 101 was my first kit ever and it was a very enjoyable build. It powered up and sounded great the first time. I've included a link to my review on AC. https://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=144923.msg1550180#msg1550180
The GT 104 was a more detailed build but again the instructions were top flight and it came together without a problem.
I use the PR102 and the GT104 with a pair of homemade "Cornscala" speakers and CD/laptop with Topping D5III.
The sound of this system is very good (to my ears) with great imaging and headroom. I've not tried any measurements and don't feel the need. I used the GT101 for a few years and then gave it to a family member and its still performing flawlessly in that system.
