Looking good Aiyima! Let’s hope all that beauty has some substance….Hey audio lovers!
Here’s an update on the D20 development!
The hardware design is basically done, and our team is now putting the final touches on the UI software.
The D20 will be meeting you all very soon — stay tuned!

I will post pics when my arrives if it helps. I am only going to lift the glass, tired of pulling these things apart and the new glass lid design is a big bonus for me.It's both, as it seems - this one is supposed to compete against the Q1 bei Douk Audio, the Q11's successor. So far it looks fine, a little gimmicky for some tastes with two chipsets maybe... However that's not a real cost driver with these two chipsets, by me at least it's appreciated. I like these sturdy enclosures of Anniversary Series. There is no dual balanced output (that's a major difference to the Q1) but maybe switching relays on the inside for that purpose.
In regards to lid design for op amp switching I would maybe consider a slide design. A full sliding top plate sitting flush with the sides so nice and discreet and sliding out on rails.
By the way the Bluetooth on the Ampapa D1, within the limits of Bluetooth using the opa828 even AAC from the iPhone sounds very clear, it’s a great op amp to use - you would love it Picky Audiophile!
Good job Douk/Amapapa!
