I couldn't help it. I just rolled the op-amps to LME49720NA. It was easy to do but the LED's didn't line up perfectly with the holes afterwards, so I might fix that later. Be careful not to move the front LED's if you do this. The sound is subjectively better, less dry (for sure!)

I placed the amp sideways to avoid seeing the uneven/dim LED's from op-amp rolling. They fit perfectly on my Iso Acoustic Isopods which give them more ventilation from underneath. Also, I leave them on all the time, since they generate minimal heat and since my subwoofer and interface both are on all the time too, so I can just play something and hear sound without flipping any switches, and then output to my headphones only as needed with the Apogee software.

Once you take off the knobs they are hard to get perfectly right when you put them back on, so I took them off completely to get more accurate control of the levels. I also put black electrical tape over the lights, since my lights were not even from disassembling and re-assembling (to roll op-amps.)

The certainly can get enough fresh air. A nice, minimalist aesthetic
