Sure we all would like that but then the fact is that newer TPA3255 amplifiers either wait in queue or probably phase out to another newer release before such review comes.3255 so this doesn't have to be so expensive
Hopefully they have sent an unit to amir
The opamp has no influence on the sound because any measurable difference is swamped by noise and distortion of the 3255. @amirm proofed this elsewhere here on ASR.Would have preferred the opa828 in this one for a more neutral, clean and faster response with better bass control but the 1612 is….ok. I expect the op amp will be soldered too as the 1612 often is.
Where did you get that information? I can only find this image on ASR, not on Aiyima’s website or anywhere else.Aiyima’s A20 series TPA3255 balanced monoblock amplifier

Sorry boys, you should have learned by now that I will never agree with you on this issue.![]()
Does Op-amp Rolling Work?
When I post my last video on review of Douk A5 amplifier, I mentioned that rolling (changing) op-amp ICs in there is fruitless. I got have a dozen comments under that video in youtube asking why so I thought I experiment again with the A5. Note that I have done the same testing with both DACs...www.audiosciencereview.com
Do we really have to start a separate discussion about whether it makes sense to swap out operational amplifiers in every single thread about the TPA3255 or other chip amplifiers?Would have preferred the opa828
Thanksfound it here:
I don't expect it to be fundamentally different from other TPA3255 amplifiers, but I really like the design.Aiyima’s A20 series TPA3255 balanced monoblock amplifier

Exactly and sometimes the higher will is invisible to the eyes of the blind and the ears of the deaf, even in electronics evidently. We can lead a horse to water, but we can't make it drink.
It seems a bit impolite that you are trolling on a site for science when you don't believe in it yourself.Exactly and sometimes the higher will is invisible to the eyes of the blind and the ears of the deaf, even in electronics evidently.
