Please go carefull on me im delving into an area i really know but willing to learn,

Ive an A08 pro with 48v power supply not sure about the amps as its hidden out of site, will dig it out later today hopefully.

Now i've been reading up on these and i've seen it advised to swap out the 2 large caps rated at 50 volts to something around 63 volts ( I thought it was on this forum but cannot find it now) Can someone who is in the know give me some advice of better ones to use also am i correct in saying they can have flat pins or stock round pins ? again can someone be kind enough to point me in the right direction, Im UK based and have all the soldering tools needed.

Thank you

You'll have to dismantle it and measure yourself, the review https://audioappraisal.com/aiyima-a08-pro-bluetooth-amplifier-reviewed/ at has pics but it's not possible to see the capacitor connections in detail.
Thank you, maybe i wasn't very clear i asking what are the best type to use i've read on the thread i need 3300uf 63 volt to be safe but i need to know what make are a good quality i dont want to jump in and buy any thing that just meets those figures, As i've stated i well capable of taking unit apart de-soldering and re-soldering isnt an issue just dont want to go buy substandard ones. I dont have a clue which are suitable for amplifiers etc.

Or would it just be safer to buy a 36v power supply ?

Definitely safer to go with a 36v PSU but if you're determined to have fun tinkering then first carefully measure the available space for replacement caps and order a couple of 63V 1000µF (3300µF are almost certainly going to be physically too big). You need 'low ESR' caps from a reputable manufacturer such as Dubilier, Nichicon, Kemet or Panasonic.

Any one please help/Advise
FWIW, my advice would be to stand down from red alert. I've been running two now-elderly A07s with their dreaded 50 WVDC Nichicon caps on 48 volts for over four years with nary a problem, so I for one wouldn't bother swapping in higher-rated caps despite the fact that it's obviously "best practice" to have the additional safety margin an otherwise-equivalent 63 WVDC part would provide. YMMV of course, especially if you feel like you'd enjoy the DIY aspect of doing a swap.
