I’m using the regular 07 to drive a pair of 6 ohm Polk RTA 12's. The recommended amplification is 10-500 watts. I've used big Crown amps with them, but the 07 sounds much better, and easily gets them as loud and dynamic as I could ever want. I've been using the 48V PS with it and my Fosi V3 and they never get more then warm. They're so inexpensive that if something ever did go wrong it really wouldn't bother me. I'll just buy another or whatever the latest iteration is.

In the end I went with an Hypex dual mono setup. Much more control on base than my Denon x3500h. Since I couldn't really AB test them, the rest is hard to tell. But it gives more headroom for my center and surround speakers. How looking for a nice neutral pre amp and DAC under 500.

For this of us without metal fabrication skills, would drilling a series of holes along the sides of the A07 Help with cooling? I notice the Fosi Za3 pointing out cooling holes as a feature... No need to point out that metal shavings and circuit boards don't mix well.

There is a separate topic for power supplies for this amplifier. In any case, I have not met a single person who had spare ears in the refrigerator when the main ones were damaged by loud noise. Even 30-50 real (not Chinese) watts is very loud even in a large room.

As if you have any idea have how other folks use their equipment? Do you actually believe that anyone posting here pushes their home stereo gear to point of hearing damage -- and are you sure that's is an honest health concern rather than a case of, "My gear choices are correct and everyone else has the wrong priorities?"
