My AIYIMA A07 Pro, Bluetooth input, fixed output no Volume knob control, didn't try RCA inputs.
But @bluetooth input, 3.5mm AUX output is very quiet, maybe 0.3V RMS (not measured, by comparison).
Why Aiyima, why?
5th opamp is AUX 3.5mm output buffer and result is very low volume????
@AIYIMA @AIYIMA:GUO
Is it possible to somehow modify 5th opamp buffer to increase gain?
About your problem ,there are suggestions to help you
1.You can do this by moving C111 to position C112 and C114 to position C113 so that the 3.5mm output is controlled by the total volume;
2.On the adjustment of gain approach: R105 and R108 resistance value to 20k try, if not enough can then increase the resistance value

For the reference...

Hi All! =) It`s interesting... i have bought it some week ago, and aux output is controlling by volume knob by default! Something else changing in new revision? 3.5 vs 3.7... New capacitor 63 vs 50 v, volume control...

Yes, the version I received is also the new 63V version, also got confirmation from AIYIMA that they optimized the components and that 3.5mm output is controlled, very good optimization!

Not true.

At least not in my case. Received from Amazon yesterday. From the *official Aiyima store*.
Aiyima A07 Pro. Assuming it is the most current version.

The 3.5mm Aux out is DEFINITELY NOT controlled by the front volume knob. Useless as a sub out, basically.

Same deal with the Aiyima A07 Max.

Just a fixed-level out signal! Even when unit is turned off.

Bummer

Maybe from some warehouse? My amp from Aliexpress... Can you make foto inside?

When all knob pointers are at 0 o'clock, it's tone control defeat.
Sorry - but what exactly is “0” O’clock, on a typical analogue clock-face - compared to the tone controls on this amp?

Noon/Midnight?

6:00 am/pm?

?

Not sure how your pics prove that your 3.5mm aux out jack is indeed controlled by the front volume knob.

Your pictures are not showing anything related to the 3.5mm aux out. They show stuff connected to the rear speaker level out jacks. The speaker jacks are indeed controlled by the volume control. That is not the issue.

I won’t open mine up - “just for the fun of it”, because I will be returning it to Amazon.

As far as I can see, the difference between the first and second picture is in the plate version designation (REV3.7 > REV3.5), also the difference in the value of the maximum voltage on the electrolyte (63V > 50V).
It seems to me that Aiyima announced earlier that in the new series it was done that the sub out has volume controled.

It’s not prove… It’s a difference in 2 revision of amps! Maybe you have old revision… i think so… 3.5.
Ok, say to them you issue! And ask a question about new revision…

Agreed. I see those differences in the pics.

However, those differences (to an area on this smp unrelated to the 3.5 mm out jack) still have NOT changed the fact - that on the most recent Aiyima 07 Pro and Max versions, which I bought from Amazon this week (from the Official Aiyima Store on Amazon) the 3.5 mm jack out - is STILL a fixed-level out signal.

It is NOT a pre-out/variable level signal- controlled by the volume knob.

Therefore - seems that either Aiyima is still selling “old stock” on their Amazon store site (which sucks), or Aiyima was not being clear or honest, or perhaps that they were simply misunderstood re.: “It seems to me that Aiyima announced earlier that in the new series it was done that the sub out has volume controled.”

Try to exchange or… look at post #141-you can make volume control!

Ok, thanks. I sent the Amazon seller an email. Will see what they say, before trying to open the unit - just for curiosity sake and to see which version it is.

In my opinion they have updated the components to optimize the product, I asked their customer service, different versions of the problem may be the old version there is still a little bit in the amazon inventory, you can contact their customer service to help you solve the problem, or to change it , they told the change of the program, at least they are in the customer want to go to make changes. But this does not affect the fact that AIYIMA has updated and optimized the product

Dear CassilinRyan,

Thank you for your opinion; however, we all have our opinions, and mine (opinion and A07 PRO) differs from yours. I have contacted Aiyima and see what they’ll say.

Won’t waste too much time on this monkey business though - as I am still well within the Amazon window of return timeframe.

All the best

My amp has 3.7 and capacitors on new (adjustable) positions…

Thanks for sharing.

I just opened mine up now. Looks exactly like yours in the picture. Rev 3.7. Am not willing to mess around with resistors or other stuff.
Will simply return this unit, and try another one from Amazon. Good thing I didn’t order from AliExpress.

Otherwise - will keep the Fosi BT20a Pro, which is the direct competition of the A07 Pro - however, unlike my A07 Pro, the BT20a Pro works perfectly in my setup, for sub controlled by main volume knob.
Nonetheless, it is 20$ more expensive on Amazon - chump change at this point.

The new version of the A07 PRO also allows you to control the size of the 3.5mm sub output with the main volume
