Hi,
playing since some weeks with this Aiyima A07 MAX amp and reading a lot of tweeks.
This makes me interested in doing some of these mods.

First, some specific ideas that I've come up with for myself.
- use PSU 48V 10A gives more dynamik and space in reproduction
- try different AC - power cables, will give you different impressions
- same do with different signal cables for a pleasing sound balance
- OP - amp rolling with cheap op amps gives me two results : OPA 1656 and LME 49720, don't want to invest more money here
- never forget burning in time one or two days (over night!)

Some electronic components have been ordered from Mouser and are on their way.
Soon I will report more.

The 48v 10A PSU would be the most notorious upgrade since it'd have more headroom for the power swings but it'll depend of the speakers, are they power hungry?
I own one unit with a 36v 6A for my Polk ES15. It's an okay amp for $67!

You can also transform the input to differential bypassing the opamps. No need to buy any part
 
If you decide to use the 48V power supply, open the amp first and look at the ratings of the caps. I recall that I read that some units came with 35V caps. The TPA3255, as per data sheet, can take about 52V

If you size the power supply after the chart, just add 20 to 30 per cent extra to account for efficiency loses, both in the power supply and the amp.

Nevertheless, unless you mod the aiyima and add large dissipator / cooling fan, you will never reach these values, it will go into thermal shutdown before you can get a fraction of these. These numbers are for a similar amp (same chipset) in perfect lab conditions.
 
Actually, this is probably not true either.
I was mainly thinking a more powerful amp. For the common condition of wanting more power on special occasions. And more versatility of application.

£65 (with 36V 6A supply) on Aliexpress with VAT and delivery (12days). No volume mismatch between channels, verified with voltmeter. Barely warms up, PSU runs even cooler. It is even smaller than I was expecting. Good value for money in my opinion.
