Airport Express Strange problem

Bingo, I've got the sound perfect with the external forum settings you just provided. So, this circle and tick issue is specifically happening on iOS 26. In fact, the Airport works with AirPlay 1 as expected. So, the fact that multiple speakers aren't selected indicates that the Airport works with AirPlay 1. Am I correct?

Hey, i know this is an old thread and you have solved the problem with apple music and airplay bit i have the same issue and i would like clarification if you could please give me. I have a fiio sr11 streamer (airplay 1 only) and the same airport express as you and before ios 26 update in apple music there used to be a single checkmark showing me native 16/44 lossless to both the receivers. For the past year up untill now its showing a checkmark in a circle. Is it true this could be an apple music software bug?
