I own a Sansui G7700 amazing vintage receiver. I would like to stream Master tracks from Tidal via s/pdif to a DAC.
I have an opportunity to buy Topping D30 or Schiit bifrost multibit gen 5.
I don't know the differences between them, your advise would be very helpful.

Many thanks
and good health to all !!

I'm sure you've read plenty on here showing poor measurements for multibit DACs. I can say I've got a DX7s and Bifrost Multibit, and when they're level matched playing through the same transducer, I can't tell them apart. So if you're getting a Bifrost multibit used, I'm assuming it's a good discounted price, it will offer all the same features as a D30, except for DSD (which I couldn't care about), and you'll be able to get it serviced if it fails down the road.
