Advice with acoustic panels

@Soniclife Unfortunately, I did not save the measurements with and without the panels but the curves were literally overlapping.

Playing a bit with REW and the WiiM PEQ, this is the current situation:

REW analysis.jpg

I applied a wide PK filter centered at 200Hz to boost the drop, another wide PK centered at 800Hz to bring this area down and a mild shelf filter over 2KHz to tilt a bit the high frequencies. I like the sound and it is less bright and fatiguing.

GSonic is not an option in my setting because WiiM EQ section cannot deal with FIR filters and I have no other easy way to apply them.

Thanks a lot for your help and the suggestions.

I'm not surprised by that, changes to decay might have been positive, but probably also very small.

The result certainly looks prettier than the start point, but liking the result is the most important thing. Time to stress test it, and by that I mean listen to lots of music.
