NEED your thoughts and advice

on this recently my grace standard balanced dac has had a bad flaw
develop the left ch output
for both the rca & xlr has dropped by 40% in volume making a huge imbalance

with the alsamixer in linux has helped slightly but the rebalancing
has reduced overall

volume output greatly so a replacement is needed in your option what
the best pick to
get for the cost my two current options are

the

TOPPING E50 DAC with some 1/4 to xlr cables from

or the

TOPPING D10 Balanced Desktop DAC also with some 1/4 to xlr cables from

or the

SMSL D-6 DAC (this is the one im leaning towards for the spec price an proform)

or the

SMSL M200 DAC Bluetooth Power Amplifier with blue-tooth to the pc vs

usb if that good or would hurt the sound quality ?

also will the custom 1/4 to xlr from https://colubercable.com/products/custom-cable

work right

The Topping d10b is a great DAC and the Amazon basics USB cable on a Febsmart 2 port USB card makes it sound terrific. If you don't need all the other features it's a solid choice. Also the monoprice premier xlr to 6.35mm work well and look so much better than those huge adapters that come with it.

Depends on what you need in the way of features. I have the D10B. It's perfect for my amp and streamer in the lounge room; power comes from the streamer via the USB interface and no optional settings. I assume the D-6 is new. It may be better for you if you need to change inputs, level etc.
