Hi guys

just joined the forum

shocked at reading the review of my current Denon AVR-X2200W

I listen to lots of CD’s through it using my Marantz CD player, lots of movies and Blu ray music discs..
It’s not a bad AVR for me but I know I need to upgrade...

can’t decide whether to go with Marantz or Denon on my upgrade in 4 weeks time?

2 channel listening is very important

I’m narrowing it down to the following upgrade
What would you guys recommend?
Or even a newer direction and different make?
I’m based in the UK

Denon X3600
Denon X3700
Denon X4500
Denon X4700

Marantz SR6014
Marantz SR7015

My current home setup is as follows

Panasonic TX-55CX802 TV
1 x Denon AVR-X2200W
2 x Monitor Audio Bronze 500
(For Main front speakers)
1 x Monitor Audio Bronze C150 Centre
1 x Q Acoustics 3070S Subwoofer
2 x Q Acoustics 3010 on their stands
(For rear surrounds)
1 x Marantz CD63 MkII KI Signature CD Player
1 x Pioneer BDP-180 Blu Ray Player

Yeah probably will

The X3600 is £200 cheaper than the X3700
not sure the extra money is gonna make a huge improvement audio quality wise?

Its dual 6.5" 150w so barely classed as a sub.

X700 has a few advantages such as hdmi 2.1 and more options for pre amp mode, higher end model have two line display, auro3d, al32, and bass sync.
