Add a list of new "Threads" instead of "Posts"

I was looking to see what threads had been started recently, but this doesn't seem possible in the
"Whats new" or "New posts" tab. Moreover, the only difference between the "What's new" and "New posts" tab seems to be that "new posts" support more features (e.g. filters), and defaults to hinding read posts.

I suggest deleting the "What's new" tab as it's redundant, and adding a "new threads only" filter to "new Posts".

The user experience could be always be better, but Search Forums can help with new threads. I recall looking into this previously and found that Xenforo appears to treat threads as a special case of a post. The general search does not seem to differentiate.

Redundancy is commonly applied in user experience as so do not see as a major flaw, so seems minor to me. In any case, @amirm has much more experience with the forum software and so he may have better insights.

There is "New Threads" sidebar but it only shows 5 newest threads.

This may not be what you want or prefer, but if you are an RSS user and have subscribed to the ASR feed, you will see the new threads.

Where do I find this?
On the main page of the forum, https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php , there are side bars on the right: Staff online, Members online, Featured content, Latest posts, Forum statistics and finally New Threads. On the phone they are below the main part, so you have to scroll to the bottom.

Thanks, of course when I click the "New Threads" title, it just takes me to "What's New"

EDIT: is the forum deliberately deleting any emoji's I try to post?

What I do is "watch" the subforums I'm interested in, then I get an alert for any new threads created within them.

I imagine it might clutter up your alerts a bit if you are interested in a lot of different areas. I personally only watch a half-dozen or so subforums in that way so it works well.
