So, I have a cable terminated with 3.5mm plugs for beyerdynamic cans. I want to use the same cable, with adapters, into audeze xlr. Naively thought searching mini xlr female to 3.5mm female would yield results in the usual places.

The plan would be to leave the adapters in the audeze sockets then swap this cable between beyer and audeze cans as required. Else it's going to be a new cable for the audeze.

Any ideas? Thanks

Mini XLR to mono 1/8"? That's a bit unusual. Might be better off making one yourself...

Such a bulky adapter - if it existed - would exercise considerable stress on the headphone's xlr. So, if at all, it should be done with some sort of cabled adapters. And that's, indeed, possible: mini-xlr>6,35male - 6,35female>6,65female - 6,65male>3,5female. That'll be awesome loose contacts listening sessions, I guess. I'd recommend a soldering session instead, too.

Maybe avoiding the adapter is an option.

Cheers - I have a cable - just want to use it on different headphones - I may just bite the bullet and buy one with the right connectors.

The Audeze requires a 4-pin mini XLR so 3 pin mini XLR's wont fit.

DAmmit! Cancel order!

Should have checked that, in the back of my head I knew it was 4 pin. Got giddy. Thanks @solderdude
