Hi all, I purchased the Dayton imm-6 and have used it with both my android and iPad devices and it's not measuring above 6kHz. If I connect it to my laptop with Linux installed, it works fine so I suspect it's the USB-C to 3.5mm adapter I'm using. Does anyone own one of these mics? What adapter do you use?

If you're planning to use it with devices without 3.5mm jacks, why didn't you purchase the USB-C version?

I had that problem with one and an Android phone. Never did figure it out. I just used it with a laptop. Later when I had a new phone it worked like it should. Same frequency too. 6 khz cutoff.

The USB C version was more expensive, £28 compared to £69.99.
Whoa, rather larger price jump than in the US. Makes sense.

What USB to 3.5mm are you using currently?

Interesting. It's happening with my iPad Pro 2nd gen and Poco F6. 6Khz cut off.

I'm using this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Headphone-...or-Adapter-Male-Female-straight/dp/B0C9GP8V8X

I'm thinking of purchasing the official Apple USB-C to 3.5mm adapter to try..
