Hi,
I am struggling to understand why I have significant distortion in the upper midst with my T8Vs. This is particularly galling when playing complex classical choral music, where the upper end just distorts very audibly and annoyingly. I find it unlikely that I have blown up these ribbon tweeters, never had the speakers at full volume (they are active, remember).
Chain is: Iphone 17 via Airplay to Denon AVC-X3700H, then via pre-out to the T8Vs. They have been calibrated with Audyssey XT. Switching to 'direct' doesn't appear to make a difference.
Does anybody have an idea what could be happening here?
Thanks for your advice in advance.
