And it’s not $899; it’s $1097 if there is no bundle offer. Even with two PC/macs…. Just decided that my ears are not good enough for ART. Really hope you guys who beta tested it get a good discount.
I would prefer just 1 PC/Mac for 550 so they can sell the second device license to anybody else. This way we both are happy.

I never paid full price. They do have reasonably sales a couple times a year.

Me either. I do not have DLBC as I don't run subs in my office. If you don't need it for ART without subs, I might try the free demo to see how much difference it makes. If I like it, I will wait for another sale to add it on.
Like @peng mentioned, I never pay full price for Dirac licenses. They run sales a couple times per year, and the older the product, the more 'generous' the sale.

- Optional LFE filter feature:
Users are now able to opt-out of the previously hard-coded 120 Hz low-pass filter in the LFE channel.- The optional setting will be checked for every new filter design using BC and ART, so that a user may calculate and export Dirac Live filters with or without the low-pass filter.
- When loading a project that was either created before this option was available, or, if it was set differently when originally saving the project, Dirac Live will apply the current setting and re-calculate the filters.
- Find the new option in “Menu → Enable/Disable LFE low pass filter” when in “Filter Design” for “BC” or “ART” designs.
The reference about the 5ms LFE channel delay issue is also gone from the "Known issues"-Section. I guess Dirac's solution is to either opt-out from the low-pass filter or live with the delay (and the potential for slight low frequency cancellation in certain cases).

When Dirac first came to the D&M products a couple years ago, you got as much as 30% off on Black Friday! Now, you won't see anything better than 20% on BF.
There's always a bundle offer throughout the year. The question is are you willing to wait until BF for the max discount?

It is visible based on the graphs posted recently on AVS, the question still remains though.
I don't think the question is if it is audible or not, which in my experience with any version of DIRAC it always is audible and it is easy to check by toggling on and off and switching between different filters. The questions is, is it preferred compared to other options? Many users report favorable / preferred results.
Agreed. The only time ART appears to "not be worth it" is when you prefer wet bass over dry.
The only issue with preference in this case is that when you pay $900 for something you tend to prefer it

I'm confused (easy to do), Dirac just rolled this beta version out today. I have seen some measurements but no reported listening yet. Can you link me to users reporting favorable results for this new beta version, I'm interested in what they have to say.
