I think this feature, being an extension of tone controls, should rest with the AVR/AVP platform manufacturer.
Dirac focuses on achieving optimal high fidelity results in the room.
Note: there is a loudness feature associated with the Dolby decoder/mixer - which can be used alongside Dirac
Thanks. All of these processors are built for high channel counts.Marantz AV10/AV20?

I used dynamic volume before with Audyssey. With ART I don't need it anymore since dialogue is much more clear. I listen at -40dB at night time.I am tempted to try ART on my AV10.
Now using Audysey.
One issue I have is that I would lose dynamic loudness correction that I really like.
If Dirac would add that feature that would be great!
It need not conflict with Dirac - it demonstrably does not on the Monoprice HTP-1 AVP... (rumours are that this AVP will received ART in the next couple of weeks...)Indeed it would be nice if Marantz would do the loudness correction like the Dynamic EQ in Audysey in that case Dirac would also inhered that function.
If having such a function is conflicting with a optimal an high fidelity result can still be a point of discussion.
Dynamic Volume is a form of compression - working with / alongside DEQ (Loudness)I used dynamic volume before with Audyssey. With ART I don't need it anymore since dialogue is much more clear. I listen at -40dB at night time.

Yes. Dynamic EQ in Audyssey is very aggressive resulting in too much bass. In ART you can create couple presets with different bass levels to compensate for low volume listening.Dynamic Volume is a form of compression - working with / alongside DEQ (Loudness)
On the D&M platforms you will find a volume compression option in the Dolby Surround parameters menu - if you enable "Loudness" you can then optionally also enable Volume Compression (aka "Dynamic Volume")
Of course to use those you need to opt for the Dolby Mixer - regardless of whether the incoming stream is Dolby, or DTS, or PCM....
I as talking about Dynamic EQ not dynamic volumeI used dynamic volume before with Audyssey. With ART I don't need it anymore since dialogue is much more clear. I listen at -40dB at night time.
Yes, at 20Hz.Does ART set a high-pass filter at or below 20 Hz if Infra Bass is not enabled?
You asked for "at least four XLR outs."Thanks. All of these processors are built for high channel counts.

Wonder if they require purchase of the device through them? It says "all av receivers supported by"...It seems that the website Texas HiFi is offering discounts on Dirac licenses.
I am not very familiar with this site, but I went ahead and ordered the A1H license.

That's great price. But keep us posted on rest of the deal.It seems that the website Texas HiFi is offering discounts on Dirac licenses.

I’m not sure. It does feel a bit too cheap, which makes it seem somewhat suspicious. I paid using Google Pay.Wonder if they require purchase of the device through them? It says "all av receivers supported by"...
