Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum and I'm from Serbia, I play the accordion, so I'm interested in the following, is it possible to make a system with 3 microphone capsules that will be on the right side of the accordion, but that work according to the sensor input, so that the position of the hand on the keyboard activates each microphone separately, i.e. the microphone turns on when it receives a signal from the sensor

Why do you need sensor activation ?

because in a live concert, when 3 microphones work on the harmonica, there is microphonics, and with the ir sensor, 1 microphone would be turned on each time and thus the microphonics would be reduced

You could use an analog switch IC and some logic to select the right mic using the sensor signals. I suspect you would need to amplify the mics before the switch. I'm not sure whether you could make it phantom powered, or would need a battery.

Having said that, none of the accordion players I've seen have used such a system.
