I was hoping to get some ideas on how to tackle room treatment and would love some insights from the knowledgeable people on this forum. Any help would be appreciated.

So the room has a lot of problems, but I am willing to tackle a lot to get a decent foundation set up. I wont be going all out as if it is a studio, it is a living room after all, but I will be investing and building a fair amount of solutions. With that in mind I will explain the room with this drawing.

So the front wall has a door, inconveniently, but I dont have any other real options with the room, as all the walls have at least one door and the left side wall has a fireplace in the middle of it (though it is decorative at this point and doesnt extend into the room bar a few inches of mantle and trim. So, with this in mind I plan on building some panels and bass traps for the front and back wall. The back wall is pretty much mapped out. I will be building some panels to insert into the frames of the 2 sets of French doors. Im going to make them 6in deep and in the middle I will put a sheet of 1/4inch birch plywood covered with acoustic mat and topped with 3 inches of rockwool, then fabric, With all included I should still have around a two and a half in air gap. They will be removeable and I have some neodymium magnets that will attract to the hinges.

The front wall is where I was hoping to get some help on. My plan was to do a slat wall that is 6 inches thick. I considered anchoring to the studs vertically with a depth of around 2.5in and covering with plywood then doing 3in cavities for rockwool, covering with cloth and then putting 2in x 1in boards with 1/4in or 1/2in gaps between them. Then in the corners I would do angled bass traps with 1/4in birch using a router to cut varying slits horizontally. I would fill behind the plywood with rockwool and use plywood on the backside with an air gap. I would match all of this to the height of the entry door. To further the isolation of the low end I considered adding a 1ft to 18in slat area for the side walls connecting to the bass traps in the corner.

I dont know the best dimensions for the bass traps or how much space they need to cover. Any help understanding or guidance would be greatly appreciated as this will be a pretty involving build with a fair amount of labor and funds invested into it. If I have anything wrong thus far please clarify or set me straight. I am open to advice and thank you for reading.

Also, I wish I would have looked at the drawing better as it isnt the most accurately depicted. I will update it soon when I get a few things done. For now I can say that the den entry is further down the wall.. more along the lines of 4 feet from the front wall. I am going to do the hanging door rails for them.
