About best small subwoofers (around 20 liters/30 liters/40 liters)

I wanna a small subwoofer with high performance
The KEF KC62s are great! And TINY!
I have two with my KEF LS60s.

Two KC62s do much more than add depth.
Don’t expect your walls to crack or windows to shatter, but they’re very musical, not just thump thump thump.
There’s more orchestral detail. The sound stage expands in all directions. All the sound opens up.
I hear details I never heard before from recordings I’ve had forever.

And yes, the bass is impressive, again more much detail, articulation and control, depending on the recording of course.
I listen to a lot of orchestral music, organ music, opera. Lots of complex and intense stuff.

Listen to Andris Nelsons’ Shostakovich series recordings with the Boston Symphony on Deutsche Grammophon.
The 11th Symphony, the Cello Concerto disk with Yo Yo Ma.
The 11th, 2nd movement around minute 13, there’s a kind of duet for bass drum and tympani that’s unbelievable. My apartment shakes!

Nelsons and the BSO just released a new Messiaen Turangalîla-Symphonie that’s beautifully recorded!
I’m not fully convinced by the interpretation, but it sounds amazing!
