Warm reviews have been written eg. by http://www.theabsolutesound.com/articles/primaluna-evo-100-dac/
"The PrimaLuna Evo 100 is an attractive, well-made DAC with powerful dynamics, oodles of detail, and a warm, enjoyable tone. When I listened to it, I focused on the music instead of hi-fi artifacts. At its price, it’s a remarkably good value, and is very highly recommended. If I had $3000 to spend on a DAC, the PrimaLuna Evo 100 would be at the top of my short list. "

"Generally, it is a close and warm sound, but when needed also offers a proper momentum. It is vibrant and just very nice. It is very palpable and three-dimensional, but the resolution is just OK. Bass control is great, but its mid part is emphasized. "

1. Pro-Ject Phono Box RS
2. Parasound Halo JC 3+

Unfortunately they are both quite expensive.

I would like to request the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2. I think it might be the best-selling USB audio interface ever, so it would be nice to see some rigorous measurements.
OK, I ordered it....
