so yeah I am trying to get the best out of my SM58 with the FET head.

I'm pretty close, to get volume, about maybe 50mm and the mic is off axis. This seems to take off the gnarly tops and reduce the ess sibilance ( sibilare ) .

Vocal technique is the key. and pronunciation. It's like micro surgery when you do this "up close and personal" singing. I will practice more.
I almost had a tiny bit of bluesy sway to the singing at one point, may revisit that.

I said nevah instead of never. I am so ashamed...
