I just bought a USB DAC that had seemingly good design, including two ESS ES9218 chips and a physical volume control, and specs, but was unable to enjoy it because the USB connection is shorting. I should have checked on Amazon first as the USB connection is a known issue (blamed on the cable but that was not my case), but I bought it from Uncle Ali before doing that. This is frustration that I might help others avoid and others could do likewise with their own bad experiences. But, it may not be an acceptable forum use. Is there a thread for such reports? I'm only talking about stuff that doesn't work they way it's advertised or at all, not stuff buyers think should be better.
