If the speed of sound is travelling @ 343.2 metres per second, how long would it take to travel from the recording studio to our listening room @ home?

Two; would it arrive in coherence?

It depends on how long your piece of string is.

Did you know there is a real thing called Calibrated Acoustic String?

That's a serious question. Different frequencies are attenuated at different rates. There might also be a phase difference.

How far are you from recording studio?

Would be moot if all were attenuated below audibility.

Don, in the search of the truth in the art of sound reproduction, no I didn't know that. Now I do.

Different electronics and loudspeaker's mechanisms can also manipulate phase, as the music recordings themselves.
Technical notes would be nice for proper playback, but who in the year 2017 would be recording out-of-phase and without telling.

Kal, did you know that they can use ultrasounds to impair people's hearing.

It depends; some recording studios are roughly 18,000 miles away from my listening room, while others are much closer, like next room.
