A new low in audio snake oil

That’s not me, it’s because of the technology. It’s very complicated stuff that I can’t explain here.
Sort of like in the 1940s (give or take), they added tetraethyl lead to gasoline... and it increased the price.
In the 1980s, they removed tetraethyl lead from gasoline... and it increased the price.
I believe that complex numbers are involved. Possibly scalar energy. All sorts of Area 51 stuff...

They don't even have to be in same room as your audio gear to have an effect. As soon as mine was shipped I could tell how close the package was by how much better the music sounded. The improvement peaked just when then the doorbell rang. I didn't even need to use the package tracking link.

In the 1980s, they removed tetraethyl lead from gasoline... and it increased the price.
Weren’t there some statistics that showed an increase in average intelligence numbers when the extra lead in the environment was abolished?

You plug it in… or don’t plug it in. It doesn’t matter. Just having it in the room near your audio equipment, improves the sound.
We laugh, but when my audio gear is switched off, the noise levels are so low that strong men may weep...
(Well, except for noise from the neighbours, the cat demanding food and the wife)

ahem.
Just to be clear:
1) this is a joke... an old joke, in fact (from the era of the re-unleading of gasoline).
2) the joke is not about lead, organometallic chemistry, neurophysiology, developmental biology, environmentalism, or sources of energy. It is about capitalism.

The essence of the joke -- Capitalism works like this:
Step 1) add something to a product to improve it = charge more.
Step 2) remove the same thing from the product due to unexpected (or poorly considered) consequences of its use = charge more.

Too funny and too true as we all know all about the absurdity of what some people dictate to us as their chosen facts and agendas. Here we had the carbon agenda with the extra expenses and the grocers increased prices drastically and stated "Fuel" cost increases. In total ~24% grocery price increase over the recent years on average. So the carbon agenda changed, the carbon agenda stuff causing the "Fuel" related price increases where eliminated but the price of the groceries still continues to escalate and the original cause of the ~24% price increase is never mentioned but they persist in expensing us that ~24% "Fuel" expense. It's all a big circle jerk mind spin of money grabbing convenient facts and ignoring the inconvenient facts and using fiction too.

Hey, I can make even better! Save money and enjoy more - Just stop taking your expensive haloperidol (or equivalent) drugs.
After a while you can sell your audio-video equipment and still enjoy pleasant but sometimes scary audiovisual experiences...

Yeah, I know, right? I was listenin' to a Wham! track. Put that thing by the interconnect and... wham!* - Stockhausen.
Amazing.

Well.

I just never listen to a "wham" track to start with (unless i'm forced to of course, last Christmas anyone?) so i'm good;)

Next step: amazing new web-based audio enhancer. No hardware needed. Improves home audio via special internet signals transmitted to your computer. Works on streaming music, CDs, LPs, etc. Our underground data center is encased in an organic cryogenic shield that enables our servers to transmit pure internet signals directly into your home. Online subscription cost is only $100 a month.

I have even watched that video but could not yet understand what it is and what it does. Knee level speaker tweeters in the demo room is an obvious sign the audience knows what they are doing though :p

Since reading about the Chronos Optimizer this morning, I developed a thoroughly new technology, Audio Infinity, that will improve the performance of all your audio equipment!

Simply, pay me the low, low price of $9.99 per month (service fees and taxes apply) and my proprietary technology will give you clearer treble, more powerful bass and midrange resolution beyond anything you’ve ever experienced.

It doesn’t matter whether you own an inexpensive MP3 player & $15 earbuds or a $100k audiophile system, Audio Infinity will make all of your listening dreams come true.

The best thing is that it happens immediately after your first payment. No waiting around for equipment to arrive.

Audio Infinity is your path to listening nirvana.

So send your $9.99 now to get the audio experience you’ve always dreamed of!
skankhobag, you need to work on your perceived improvements rhetoric. We are now in the age of the amateur word-salad reviewer so your fairly simplistic assertions about the advantages of your tweak just won't cut it. To auger through and draw in the middle aged numpties that are your target audience, you need something like this:

"...my proprietary technology will confer the following benefits on your sound equipment. Bass extends deeper, gains speed, substance, and authority, becoming more anchored, defined, composed, powerful, elastic, and dynamically eager. Any residual hollowness or boominess that reinforces room chatter is noticeably reduced. Vocals shed excess edginess and grain, gaining color, density, smoothness, and articulation, with outlines rendered more precisely. The backdrop grows darker, cleaner, more engaging, and richer in nuanced detail that becomes easier to follow. The soundstage expands, develops additional layers, and increases in complexity, while all images remain in focus, expressive, and contrasting. All for the low subscription price of $9.99 per month"

This is the same space as those "audiophile rocks" or whatever I once read about. I think these both are on the flat earther plane of ridiculous.

My personal favourite are cable burn in machines. I would put this in the anti vax plane of ridiculousness.

That must be why my new amp sounds so good, I just used the same power cord from the last amp. It was already burned in!

Yes,
but this is not (really) snake oil, these prices are way to low:cool:

For real. They are leaving tons of money on the table. Put those in better enclosures and charge 10K and watch the money roll in from the suckers that watch Darko.

Slightly off topic,
but still;)
