Talking about FIR EQ done on LS60 by "Sw55"...looks like room is already well treated - I suggest 12dB damping.
We can see it from measurement, however we do not know it from photos.
I also think there is no reverb issue.

It is clear that FIR can fix delay problems, but I dont see it as major prolem.
I doubt the measured final frequency curve is good product of Harman curve - just the opposite.
It depence also on acoustic phase in area of critical cycles - which could be forced via FIR.

I cannot comment measurement from "heyholetsgo", as there is nothing to see, only proclamation.

Try to measure with mic in your ear.
And do not open door or window in the opposite end of the apartment - it ruins all your EQ job.

The Kef does have sub output (and can be integrated with a wireless sub) and having Dolby atmos is more of a gimmick, IMHO, especially on a pair of smallish powered speakers.

sure but sub integration capability is limited in the kef. The Klipsch are compatible with Dirac Bass Control. Ignoring the atmos gimmick, dolby decoding allows the ability to preserve the 0.1 channel which would be otherwise diluted in a stereo downmix to the KEF with hdmi connection to a TV device

Room correction can’t help with room reverb. Lowering the reverb will also make a great difference.

My understanding is that tools like Diract ART do help with reverb somewhat, although that's beyond what I think KEF might reasonably add to a base model of the speaker.

That's different from saying it has no sub output at all. And the kef can more easily support dual subwoofers, since both speakers have a sub out.

sorry for the confusion, I didn't intend to imply that the KEF did not have a sub out.

ART works best in a surround setup with lots of speakers and mainly works at lower frequencies. I doubt the lux has enough headroom in the bass for this. And I don’t know of there is a stereo pre-amp with dirac art.

Bringing down reverb times in my listening room with thick absorption panels was the biggest upgrade by far in trying to reproduce music at home as good as possible.

I'd suggest that the S/PDIF is the better option. The ethernet input is not suitable and any analog input introduces an A/D conversion.

Redundant D/A and A/D conversions and additional latency.
I am using the S/PDIF input on my LS60s which serve as SL/SR speakers in my multichannel system where the other channels are all traditional balanced analog feeds to poweramps/speakers. The latency via S/PDIF is consistent enough to be compensated effectively and subjectively tolerable.

Could be very compromising sometime.
Long cable, bad shielding, proximity to other cables...
And it can make funny sounds when jack loose connection - hard time for electronics.

No real issues with S/PDIF except, in my specific application, where pair is getting LS/RS channels. If those levels are low, I may have to manually click the power button on the RC.

Not talking about SPDIF, just randomly trying to wake it up from signal, like chromecast for example or manually, app says speaker disconnected. I power cycle it and it works again.
