A case for "spacial" sound?Double glass with vacuum would be interesting,no resonances whatsoever from the inside

Not sure what was going on with the design of that speaker... Rather bizarre.LOL! Looks it has drainage valve for exchange of inner liquid!

Nothing new about this. A video from eight years ago (the reviewer has since passed, RIP):
And the vast majority of the ultrarich do not care about glass speakers.
You are late to the party - they appeared some 15 years ago and they were instant hit. But now, as you said, the demand is peaking...It seems that glass speakers are the new hype in the world of the ultrarich. They get more and more installed in hi end (multi million) homes here in Europe, and look very stylish:
The question is, glass as enclosure material, it looks strange. It will resonate all kinds of ways that you don't want it. The speaker is made of security glas (almost unbreakable), but i still think it's a very bad id. Arguments pro or contra?
the speaker shown is the Watterfall Victoria XT, a 2 1/2 way MLTL type tower speaker that costs about 4500€/pair. Not that extreme expensive, but very popular with those ultrarich. I've never seen any measurements of it.
Introducing The most beautiful loudspeaker in the world - Waterfall Audio. Period.
The smallest model - Waterfall Iguascu Evo:

Glass enclosure, damping material in a short tube immediately behind the midbass driver.
Sounds good too.
Waterfall Victoria Evo:

It is not only the "cool" glass enclosure, in Waterfall loudspeakers are implemented very neat designers choices - like thin conductive strips instead of round wires, damping material is hidden in a short tube, crossover and PR are hidden in a non-obtrusive pedestal base.
Poor dog, being asked to listen to them. Not "glass" but if I had to have such a large horn speaker, why not try to make it invisible!
Ferguson Hill "Jetstream".
Interesting that they didn't make their other stuff with acrylic

Only £100,000 for the system

From the thread "Most beautiful speakers in the world" (additional bolding for emphasizing):
Other fun facts:
Damping material is in the short tube immediately behind the midbass driver, it is not a MLTL enclosure - it is bass-reflex with auxiliary passive radiator (PR) at the bottom. I auditioned the Iguascu Evo some 15 years ago - good sound, no glass resonances.
Edit: for clarity
I remember reading about these in a magazine as a kid, a bit over 20 years agoIt seems that glass speakers are the new hype in the world of the ultrarich. They get more and more installed in hi end (multi million) homes here in Europe, and look very stylish:

When I heard "Points" (the smaller version of these -- only two woofers per side) at CES in 2010 or 2011, I was totally blown away -- they were the best speakers I ever heard in my life (and that was after a long day of listening -- Magicos, Wilsons, Verity to name a few all reminded me an episode with Caesar and an alabaster bathtub in the History of the World -- "Nice. Nice. Not thrilling, but nice". Points sounded way above all of these (to my ears). It was the most natural reproduction of classical music I ever heard. Surprisingly, the big ones (depicted here) were not as natural and realistic as the Points. Long story short -- I got that pair for myself. In two years they released an updated version -- and I got another pair for my other place. Still, the best speakers I ever had.View attachment 392403
These Perfect 8 Technology line source ribbon/cone hybrid speakers are in my opinion very good looking, and according to show reports sound as good as the look.
Just to be clear, ehm ...nevermindOk, I’m going to say it: improved transparency!
They buy Focal Utopia III at $350,000 a pair!Nothing new about this. A video from eight years ago (the reviewer has since passed, RIP):
