Belgians and beer, hard to seperate. We are the land of beer, with about 304 active commercial breweries, and about 1000 brands of beer in a lot of different styles and tastes, and that for a population of abot 11 million people. And that is not yet counting the probally tenthousands of home and hobby breweries that also are there all over the country.
And Tintin (or "Kuifje like we call him in the Dutch speaking part of Belgium) is classic Belgian culture. Not the biggest name in Belgium ("Suske & Wiske" and "Jommeke" are bigger but very local), but still...
