A Call For Humor!

A brazen protest against the world of finance on the steps of the Italian exchange or a misinterpretation? Commonly known as Il Dito (The Finger!), is a sculpture created by the artist Maurizion Cattelan in 2010 following the biggest economic crisis. Il Dito is located in the centre of Piazza degli Affari, appropriately in front of the headquarters of the Milanese Stock Exchange. The name stands as an acronym for “freedom, hatred, revenge and eternity”. (L.O.V.E)

From a recent episode of NPR's Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me, and their Bluff the Listener section. Three panelists tell stories taken from the week's news, but only one is true.

SAGAL: But this week, there was an unusual controversy at the Graveley Family Fruit farm in the United Kingdom. Our panelists are going to dish about it. Pick the real story and get the WAIT WAITer of your choice on your voicemail. Are you ready to play?

HERBANIK: Absolutely.

...

SAGAL: ... Your next fruit scoop comes from Annie Rauwerda.

RAUWERDA: When Farmer Jim (ph) and Mrs. Farmer Jane (ph) at the Graveley Fruit Farm finally finished their annual corn maze design, they were ecstatic. They couldn't wait to fly over it in their tiny plane and photograph the design from the sky. Their design was of a proud farmer woman holding two blue-ribbon melons.
(LAUGHTER)

RAUWERDA: It's based off a real event when Jane won the melon contest last year. So when they flew over the maze in their Cessna, they were shocked at what they saw. She didn't look like a woman with prized melons the fruit. She looked like a woman with prized melons... the boobs.
(LAUGHTER)

RAUWERDA: It was too late to change the corn maze. They could not make it less hot. The press was already there. When they unveiled the aerial photo to the crowd, people were aroused.
(LAUGHTER)

RAUWERDA: And, I mean, shocked. When the local reporter Robert Meyers (ph) asked, so what's this based on? And Farmer John responded, my wife. Murmurs of respect, dude, and hell yeah, spread across the audience. The fruit farm is now proud of their busty corn woman, and the maze is the most popular one in history, with Royal Air Force planes buzzing over constantly.
(LAUGHTER)

SAGAL: The corn maze at the Graveley Fruit Farm ends up being unintentionally R-rated...

Unfortunately, it wasn't the true story, so no photo to share. :(
The true one was about a ride based on the Titanic disaster.

I met a redneck on a Grecian isle
Who did the goat dance very well
He gave me back my smile
But he kept my camera to sell
Oh the rogue the red red rogue
He cooked good omelettes and stews
And I might have stayed on with him there
But my heart cried out for you California

I hope it won't be considered political content, it made me lol hard
I think he already unhinged two windows and wrapped his jacket around. If he’s pushed out, he’ll deploy the windows, fly around a bit, and land safe next to @Brian Hall sculpture.

Well… That’s what I think.
