A Call For Humor!

Women have way harder lives than men. Proof is in the stats, their life expectancy is living only 5 years longer than men.

I

I recall reading the car hit the side of a mountain at an estimated 350 mph after going airborne. Seems a bit impractical for daily commutes...
Who cares about the car I want to know more about the cat!.
Which reminds me of an old joke. School had just resumed after the Halloween break.
Teacher "well did anybody do anything exciting during Halloween?" Little Tommy puts his hand up.
Yes Tommy "Miss me and my mate Jimmy tied a banger to a cat's arsehole"
"That's terrible Tommy, the correct word is rectum".
"Sure did Miss blew the arsehole clean out of him"

I was also kind of puzzled by the 360 degree rotation. Is that to blind oncoming drivers with a reflection of their own high beams?
More like they wanted a closeup illustrating both the rotation and tilt. If they showed them correctly placed on both sides, they'll loose the closeup. They opened themselves for a poke with that shot, definately ;)

Besides, I dont't want to see what hits me from behind when cycling, find cycling on busy roads a bit too dangerous for my taste, a long time since I had a race bike. I stick to MTB and have a 5 km (partially loose) gravel stretch w 700 m drop close by, and no one but myself to blame if.... Am really getting too old for that, but I do make sure my body is both aerodynamic and taking advantage of gravity :)

Have y'all seen ... ?

Bats dancing at the goth club

(If @Ropeburn hasn't already shared that, why not?)

Comparing with the instructions for goth dancing from the South Park kids, it seems about right except the bats are keeping a close eye on the camera operator instead of staring at their feet.

In northern Europe and British Isles and so on, I'd say Fins, Norwegians and Dutch are pretty direct, Swedes are more diplomatic, Germans more formal, Danes and English more political, Ires and Scots more direct again, as are Icelanders. But this is a bit stereotypical and I am happy to be proven wrong.

Would argue a cultural coctal it can be an issue until getting used to it. Direct seen as brash/unpolite and lack of conduite, diplomatic and political seen as evasive and weak. Interesting things can happen when these cultural behaviours are misinterpited, thus it is important to recognice and understand the reasons.

Yeh, pretty much. Understanding another culture and their references is something certain countries are bereft of, it becomes ingrained that they 'don't have to', which is often perceived as arrogance. The first to know, is what not to say about one culture, or another culture... at least the effort covers the inevitable blunder which can be hilarious once a few compliments about the local drink have passed.

Some tings are universal though. Being a bit ignorant is fine I belive. As long as you are curious, interested and join in when they are sharing. People love to be the ones introducing you to the marvels. Regardless of culture, be careful not to put yourself in a position where you have to decline females who have discovered your potential. Eternal enemies 101. Be impressed or share their affection when the guys put their pride and joy up for display, be it cars, watches, houses, girlfriends or what not. Worst thing you can do is not to be impressed or affectionate about their vintage car and so on.

LOL. I was never left hanging that way, but something very close. And I survived. And so did the he above...
We Gen-X are the "if you don't stop crying I'll give something to cry about"... not the "If you stop crying I'll buy you some new toy". We are not the same.
