A Call For Humor!

The joke in the joke, I thought it was a joke, but it isn't
No. It's an adjustment to the definition of "broadband" so that ISP's can show faster progress to policy targets of making "broadband" available and deploying it at the same time as reducing their costs. I met an FCC commissioner once. She was very clearly viscerally scared of the industry and explained her vote in the policy issue in question as driven by that fear. Not very funny.

Somebody use a chatbot to make the IKEA pictograph instructions for that.

Edited to add: I had Grok make it. Didn't want to spend an hour figuring out a prompt for that.

That actually happened to a friend on a long stretch in the middle of nowhere in Texas. The cop asked him if he was drunk, then said, "You better speed up boy, or someone will run your *ss down!"
Sometimes one can "turn the tables" (requires some audacity): I got stopped by traffic police (many years ago in Poland). The "classic": 50 km/h "plus VAT" when entering a village, at night and in cold rain. Cop: you know what you've done? Me: Nothing, against what you must have done.
Cop: ??? Me: They didn't kick you out of the warm office for nothing, did they? :p
I got let off without paying.

It'd be a shame to be always so serious to the point where you get so heated you'd lose your cool. Share your findings of silly audiophile musings around the web or on the forums, so we can all join in on your suffering ;P

Most certainly humor needs to be a component of this overall group. :) Leave the seriousness to Amir as he is the guy we all listen to and learn from and get corrected by rightfully so. He explains things in a calm analitcal way like no other person in the industry to be honest. Of course this sometimes offends the folks that try to push their garbage components as high quality, but that's how it should be, we all need Amir for this reason and for this reason he is successful.
