Good question!

Applies to movies too. We watched Nuremberg the other day (Russell Crowe, Rami Malek) and it was close to B&W.
Very good question!
I recently walked through the pedestrian zone of my hometown wearing a yellow T-shirt, and I felt like a supernova in the dark universe. Everyone else was dressed in dark and muted colors. It was a really strange feeling.

Same. Rewatched Die Hard 1 for the first time in ages and then watched a movie released 2026 and the colors were basically gone

Home interiors have definitely lost their colors to white, beige, wood and sometimes black.

White and wood plus colourful things always works. I find such contrasts very pleasing.

Way to flashy for me, those colours don't bring peace in my mind, they disturb me. I prefer more like this:

That is also colourfull, but much more relaxing, what i want my home is. And the wood paneling is much nicer than drywall, which i hate...
