BTW: some dogs love to eat "hot" - like pepperoni and such. The problem arises as soon as the food arrives on the other side of the dog...
 
Changing dog to human changes precisely nothing about that sentence. Haha

Interestingly, though "hot" taste is provided by pain receptors, it's desirable only on one end :)

OTOH, it's not sufficiently undesirable at the output, for the brain to prevent it at the input next time

Also, the temporal distance between the two will impede conditioning.
