I’ve always been bothered by the word “song” to designate a piece of music.
Me too! The only thing that annoys me about LMS as a music server is that it insists on calling all tracks 'songs'. I've even asked the LMS builders if they could change that, but they don't see the problem. I've also ranted at my local radio station for referring to a Dave Brubeck jazz track as a 'song'. Might as well shout at the clouds, as nobody else around here seems to be bothered.
