Fascinating animal, barely evolved for the last 150 million years, tells us something on how good their adaptation is... jack of all trade, can take many shapes, many colors, very smart, can re-grow lost organs, they can even edit their own RNA, kind of some sort of genetic autotherapy!

There's an anecdote I read some years back about an old(er) school pilot encountering a 'glass cockpit' and 'fly by wire' in a then very modern Airbus. "Now I know how a dog feels watching television". :|
