The phenomenon "I can't park in reverse" is timeless and genuinely interesting.
Like my ex, and like my mother - both could drive really very well, but - see above...

I am genotypically and phenotypically male... but I can jackknife (and have done so, repeatedly) a 4-foot long lawn cart attached to my (relatively tiny) lawn tractor by trying to maneuver it in reverse.

My "instant gray hair moment" was being ordered to drive a large Tatra truck hauling another military vehicle, back in the last Millennium
Nobody asked whether I have a licence for it (and I had none). But all went well, luckily without having to reverse.
